A good day out

Yesterday I took Derek to my friend’s house and she has a daughter that is 6 years old, they are pretty good friends too, and they were playing almost the whole time that I was there with him and I was in the kitchen with my friend, helping her with the lunch before going to the malls, and the kids were in the room playing, I was checking now and then and they were playing with a Kitchen  play set that the girl has, the visit lasted about 2 hours, and it was amazing for me that he didn’t want to go home before that time, even when we go to grandma’s house, after an hour or so, he wants to take off, but in this case he played the whole time, right before lunching, when we called them to come to eat, Derek and the girl appeared each one with a plate and Derek told me “look mom I prepared a waffle, just or much better than the ones you prepared me, this one was made in a microwave” I couldn’t hold and I laugh with them about this, but was is really nice for me is that now I know that when he is in company of other children he can stay longer than 1 hour in a place and that he likes the waffles that I prepare. :D
