Well, now less than 4 months into the deployment, R&R is over. He left just hours ago. It just seems so impossible that the time went as fast as it did. Just as impossible, seems the time we still have to go until this deployment is over. Time is funny... sometimes it goes by fast and sometimes slow... but you can be sure that the time won't pass the way you want it to.
We has such an amazing time, and we have both changed more for the good. We went with the kids out to eat... we played games... watched movies.... We just had more fun than we have ever had together. I just can't believe its over......
I have a lot to clean up... but its so hard when its all his things. I just want to leave it exactly where he put it ((and he is a man, so you must know his things are NOT in their proper places)) LOL. so I know things need to be put up.... I'm really upset knowing I have to go wash the dishes in a little bit.....it is just so hard and some of it makes me feel so silly.
I don't think the twins really realize he has left yet.... and that just breaks my heart even more. Poor kids have to be confused though. I think they have more fun with him.... he is just more of the "fun" kind and plays rough with them and all.... so I do feel bad that I won't fill his shoes completely for them.
Everything is just so hard.... But I hope everyone else it doing okay... and I know I'm not alone.... so that helps a lot..

I also want to add a big THANK YOU to him for his service, doing what he knows is best to keep his family and everyone else's family safe. I am against the war, but I honor him for doing what he believes is right.
Sorry that the time went by so fast and he had to leave again. I think it's harder when the R&R comes at the beginning of the deployment.
Hang in there. You will be ok.
thank you both so much. I wish R&R was more towards the end or middle, but nonetheless I was SO happy to see him again!
I'm so sorry, hun! I'll experience it in January. And what you said about time was so true...it will NEVER go pass how you want it too. I've told you before, if you ever want to do anything, let me know. I'm always home by myself. You should bring the twins over one day to play or something! I hope you feel better!!
I think I will take you up on that offer after the twins get over this stomach virus, hopefully that will be soon, LOL thanks for the support, and I hope everything is going as good as it can over your way.

Oh, and just before the Holidays. My heart hurts for you. Be strong and know he'll be back again soon.
