I'm dreaming of a white Christmas....

....and just might get one! For the first time in more than 20 years, I won't be spending Christmas in California! Even after all that time, I am still not used to green Christmas. It never has quite the same feel to it as it did when I was a kid back east in Minnesota. And stranger still will be the fact that my BIL (husband's brother) will be here in my house, but I won't be! lol His family will be here, taking care of things, rather than just visiting on Christmas day. It will not only be the first Christmas away from home, but the first one with just us and the kids.

I'm looking forward to it.

Don't get me wrong. I love my BIL and his family, especially the kids, but this is a situation that doesn't come up often, and I am looking forward to the lessened stress of entertaining 10 other people.
