On my way home from The Vintage Attic one evening I seen such a wonderful sight, a bright sign that said ""Merry Christmas"". I was in such a rush to get home, I had gifts to wrap, wrapping paper to buy, dinner to fix, cookies to bake, a house to clean, laundry to do, shopping to finish, my niece to return home, the dog needed feed, a blog to write because I have been neglecting that, Christmas cards to fill out and send out, furniture to paint because we are almost out of white furniture. Does this sound like your life?
I was not going to stop then something came over me when I seen the Merry Christmas lights. That’s what its all about. Over 2000 years ago there was no room for the Christ Child so He was born in a barn in a animals food bin (that’s what a manger is). 2000 years later and we still don’’t make room for Him in our busy lives and that’s why I stopped. I vow to make room for Christ this Christmas after all it is His birthday.
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.
God Bless, Melissa
