ViaCord Cord Blood Banking....Anyone done this?

So, my due date is quickly approaching.  I have 2 more months to go!  Hubby and I are thinking of banking our baby's cord blood.  I just wanted to know if anyone else has done this and what your opinion on this is? 

It seems rather expensive......but if it could possibly save my baby's life or the life of one of his siblings IT'S WORTH IT!!!!

Any info that anyone has on this would be greatly appreciated.  I spoke to a ViaCord representative earlier today, but I really wanted to hear opinions of other moms.  Has anyone ever kept the cord blood banked and actually needed it?

Did it with two of my kids, but haven't needed it.  They are 10 and 8 now.  It's about 125 a year...I am glad we have it, although I also pray we never need it!
