The last couple of weeks have been the worst yet.  I've been having terrible fits of nausea and definitely feeling very tired.

I don't know if I mentioned before, but I have hypothyroidism and I had an appointment with my endocrinologist yesterday who said my levels are a little too high which could definitely explain why I've been so overly tired.  My medicine was adjusted and I'm hoping to start feeling a little better soon.  My endocrinologist is absolutely a wonderful doctor....he is very caring and the best part is how he is staying on top of my condition.  My first pregnany my doctor screwed up very badly and told me to stop taking my thyroid medicine which I found out later could have caused a miscarriage...but it did cause preeclampsia...so I'm glad this doctor knows what he is doing.  He is going to have me get my labwork done every month now so he can monitor everything.

I had a scare the other day too.  My almost four year old jumped on my stomach at full force.  She hit me so hard I lost my breath.  I called my OB/GYN and the nurse suggested I go to the ER just to check on the baby.  I went to our local ER which is a rinky dink crap hole to put it nicely, but I figured they could do a few simple tests (I am not delivering here...go out of town for that!).....well first of all the nurse came in and was trying  to find the baby's heartbeat (at 8 weeks..) well, I fgured she could try...but she grabbed my wrist and then said, oh no, that isn't the babies heartbeat, that's yours.....what retard doesn't know that a baby's heartbeat is like double an adult's?  So I was pretty ticked off......Then she left and I waited.....two hours later I had seen nobody...not a doctor, a nurse, a dip wad...nothing....I was so angry. (I had been at the hospital for nearly three hours and did I mention I was the only one there?)  I had my husband go and look into the ER and there sat all the stupid nurses and a doctor eating lunch!?!?!?!  I was madder than heck to say the least!  I got up and got dressed and told my husband to go get a nurse. When she walked in I told her (in the nicest voice I could muster at that point) that I figured that if I came to the ER I'd have someone want to help me, but apparently I was wrong.  And I told her that if I had a problem that they certainly would have already helped me.  The nurse said, well the doctor has been busy....yeah...I could see him eating his freaking lunch!  And I realize he needs to eat lunch...but how long was his lunch? Three hours????  So I left.  Freaking jerks!  I called the OB/GYN back and the nurse said that based on my symptoms everything sounded fine..so that is that I guess.  But  I really do hate our local hospital!  Grrrrrrrrrrr.
