Steven...he missed it. He didnt see any of this glory this monring, he missed the whole thing.
Rest in peace, Steven.
My son will miss you, "his new friend".
Now, how do I tell him?

Help me?
I was NOT expecting a call so HORRID to side-swipe our beautiful snow day.
My GOD. What do I say.

Oh Elle...
heart flutters for you with you by you near you love you
You can't come up with a 'good enough' segue...just tell him, and then listen...try not to show him how scared to death you are and grateful that it wasn't him...try to just listen...
all my all,
T
Wow, I am so sorry that this happened, I pray for Steven's family, I know they are in shock. I agree with Lia, you just have to tell him, death is not easy to tell.
Oh good heavens. IDK what to say other than I am so sorry...for everyone involved. For everyone who knew the child or is part of his community. For his family. Even for the person who hit him.
How sad. This makes me cry.
I need to go hug my children.
Elle, I am sorry. Praying for your son and the boy's family during this time......
I agree with Lia too. Just tell him. It will be okay. He trusts you...don't let him find out some other way. I had to tell my daughter when her grandpa died....hardest thing I ever had to do in my whole entire life, but I know just it came from me made it easier for her.
Ugh! Now I am crying again!
Tell him what you always tell us. From rain....
Sometimes bad things happen. Sometimes we just don't understand why.
My prayers are with you guys, as well as steven's family.
I'm so sorry. Saying a prayer for Steven and his family.
Good advice below..
This is every parents' nightmare....
We always reminded our kids NOT to chase the balls when they go onto the streets!
