Our Night With Santa...

So hubby's work coordinated a get together with Santa for all of the police officers and their families.  Santa came in, read "Twas the Night Before Christmas" to all the kids, we had cookies & juice and snacks.  Santa called out each child's name from a gift that "he" wrapped & marked with their name on it and then each child sat and told him what they wanted for Christmas.

Zack, being 2, of course, loves saying "Ho ho ho!" but didn't want anything to do with Santa.  He just wanted the gift and that's it!! LOL  Justin....who I was very shocked, actually sat on Santa's lap and talked to him for about 2 or 3 minutes (luckily, he was the last child to be called so he had time. lol).  Every Christmas before now, he's always been afraid to get too close to Santa and would always cry if we had him sit with him.  So we were shocked but very proud of him.

This Santa was phenomenal!!!  I think next year I'm gonna try to coordinate with the police department to see if I can set up a background and take some pro pics of all the kids with Santa and with the extra $$ from the profits, either give to a local charity or to the dept itself.  Hmmm....we'll see. =)  Anyways, here's a few pics.

LOVE the green hair!  We just had our christmas program and there were a couple of criers for Santa!

OH...and I forgot to add that when I asked JJ what he was gonna ask Santa for....his response????

"Everything".

Haha, nope...UR not losing it.  We got their hair cuts beforehand and JJ wanted his spiked and colored.  So we figured why not go festive.  He chose green! LOL
