I had a horseback riding accident and fractured my L4 transverse process.  The people at the scan were ticked because I was immune to morphine and couldn't move.  They couldn't go home until my body cooperated - as if!!!

I wasn't too happy and reminded God how important sleep is for our bodies to heal, and finally I did a little bit. (As if...)  Did anybody hear me singing with joy across the mountains the morning after I had finally gotten some sleep?  It was only about 6 hours, but I felt like I had gone to heaven!!!  I tend to be very vocal when I'm happy, and I never knew how happy I'd be getting some sleep.

I haven't sleep a lot since I've gotten married, actually.  I've been completely sleep deprived, and my face shows it!

However, we just took a cruise with my travel company, and I slept like a baby the entire week!!!  Yes, even with snoring going on around me.  It was heaven!  How can I bring that setting into my bedroom?  I need a rocking bedroom, the waves lapping around  and moving me once in a while, the flow, the entire thing.  I know I'd be perfectly content to live on a boat - if I didn't have to worry about doing all the plumbing, bathroom stuff myself!

Merry Christmas!

Oh what an experience!  Man that must've been so hard to be immune to morphine!
