In response to today's theme question...*drumroll* I have gone WAY too long without sleep before. Days on end. I have had some serious bouts of insomnia. The worst happened a couple of years ago. I lost my job and my friends/family all thought I was on drugs because I was so absolutely sleep deprived that I was literally going crazy. Now, though, my sleep patterns have evened themselves out. I think my body and mind know that sleep is very precious, since I've become a mom. Let's hope things stay that way! I never want insomnia to rear its ugly head again.
