Closing in 10 Days!

I can not believe we close in 10 days. 10 days. I have started working on the kitchen. And when I say working on, I mean going through EVERYTHING and deciding whether to keep, donate, or throw away. Then I have to wipe everything off (anything that's been sitting out, in case it's dusty/dirty) and pack.

We have probably 80% of Brenden's room packed. Just some random, odd shaped toys, clothes, bed, light are left. The kitchen and living room are the big areas. With Christmas and Christmas Eve pretty much wiped off our list of usable days, we have 8 days to pack everything. We plan to use closing day as a cleaning day in the new house. Disinfect counter tops, sinks, faucets, toilets, and run a vacuum through.

It has been crazy, and I think January is going to be insane. Not only does Brenden go back to school on the 5th, my two classes start back up on the 5th. Our 3 year wedding anniversary is the 16th.

Everyone is doing good though. We got our Christmas shopping done. We aren't doing Christmas this year, like Christmas morning jump up and open presents. We're going to wait until we are settled at the new house and let Brenden open presents. It's just too chaotic to do it here. He won't even remember, so it's not a big deal to US, but to mother-in-law and grandmother-in-law, they think it's stupid to wait. Whatever. They aren't closing and moving between Christmas and New Year's Day. They can kiss my booty.

Well, I better get back to work. I needed a break and thought I would give an update!
