Christmas

Christmas is such a special time.  It seems like no matter what someone is going through, Christmas can bring hope and joy to their lives. 

Just recently, I lost my aunt to cancer.  It was hard for me not to be mad about it.  Traveling home from the funeral I was praying.  I felt God speak to me.  He let me know that Aunt Irma's life should be celebrated.  I should learn from her example.  She could light up a room with her smile.  Her faith was amazing.  Wherever she went and whatever she was dealing with, you could see God's light in her eyes.  

My goal for this Christmas is to be more like my Aunt Irma.  I want to be that graceful, strong example for my children, husband and friends.  For anyone that I come into contact with.  My goal will be acheived with prayer and holding strong to my faith.  

I pray that all of you have a blessed holiday season.  Please remember that Christ is the reason for the season and that nothing would be possible without Him.

I think your Aunt Irma would be very proud of the woman you are...what an amazing heart! Love you mama, may you continue to let love shine thru your life!
