Horse Carriage Ride story - Need to share....(not good)

Tonight we decided that we would take a horse carriage ride in the city and view the lights...

Well in the middle of our ride, three teens or early 20's started harrassing the driver because well, he was pulling a horse...like how bad it is the horse, animal rights etc...well, the driver did not ignore them of course...and they were going back and forth saying the driver was gay and has sex with children! (I was appalled and upset because my dd is sitting right there and she was just looking away, I was worried how this was affecting her) and they kept following us and I was feeling harrassed and a lot of anxiety....I almost said something, I also wondered if these creeps were also making references to us also...because we are a lesbian-gay couple with a 5 year old half Mexican child...I just couldn't believe it...toward the end, the driver nearly jumped out the carriage to fight and still had the handle of the horse (the rope) and I nearly freaked out!! We told the lady who took our money in the beginning, all the driver said was sorry and no one did anything...Anyway after we got off the carriage ride, my dd finally started crying because she was cold but I think it was more because of the situation, so we hurried up and got on the train and we came home. I just wish I knew there names so I can report them to the police dept.

Now I am going back into my protected mode, which means I am thinking about getting more self-defense products, no one can go anywhere, etc....I am also afraid to go downtown anymore....Although I love going downtown, I also want to go to the Britney Spears concert and now I am back to the point of paranoia again...
