Traditional Holiday Meal

A few years ago, my husband and I decided that every Christmas (or xmas eve--depending on our plans) we would have an 'ethnic' meal. Each year we choose a part of the world and make that style of food. So far we've had Caribbean, Mexican, and Creole/Cajun. This year we're spending Christmas Eve with our neighbors, one of whom is Swedish--so we'll be having Swedish food. Yum!

It's a fun way to learn about other cultures and enjoy some unique cuisine at the same time.

That is an awesome idea, I usually do that throughout the year trying new things, but that is awesome to do on the holidays.
