So I am up in Minnesota for Christmas this year, as I am every year. We are having a good time and chatting it up. Grandparents are playing with their grandbaby. Well last night at 9PM my mom gets a phone call from my great uncle. My heart sinks, cause I know if he is calling at this hour that means that something is wrong. I can tell by my mom's voice that something is wrong. She gets off the phone and rushes to the bedroom to tell my dad. I follow, I find out that our neighbors behind our properity, (300 acre Farm) house is on fire. My dad hurries to get bundled up, calling a few people, and my dad, Franky and I set over on a very cold drive. As we drive out of our drive way you can see the glow of the fire. It looks almost as if a small town is located here from the glow in the sky. We get to the county line which is about .75 miles from the house, and you can see the flames over the trees. My heart just sinks more. We get there burrowing through the snow drifts on the road and the whole has gone up in flames. It looks that all that stood was the side walls and that the center had collapsed. The old couple that live there were at work. They didnt' have a chance of grabbing anything. Everything lost, completely lost. Over 30 years of memories gone in seconds. All they had to come home with was the clothes on thier backs.

backs.
