The one thing I must have on Christmas...

is a fresh Christmas Tree fully decorated and lighted by my kids. This makes my kids a must-have at Christmas as well. I know I cheated... that's more than one. But if they go so tight together why separate them. But really it doesn't matter what tree. One year, we have a tree in a pot because it's the first time we're not cutting from a farm, after I broke up with my boyfriend, and I was plain clueless how else
Christmas Tree buying is done. This year I got a good-sized tree at Target that fits my little Scion XB perfectly, even with my kids on it. We didn't put out all the decorations. But my kids took out their favorite heirloom ornaments from their own Christmas boxes and hang them on the tree. Everything feels just right.
