So we wake up this morning.....

my oldest is impatient to get to her presents but had to wait for her baby sister to wake up. went to open presents and she gets like 3 bratz dolls, and bratz, microphone, a scooter, clothes, shoes, and mini disney princess thingys...my youngest got a its a big big world dude w a bongo(mind u she's,excited! something u normally see w kids on xmas morning)my oldest had the nerve to have this dissapointed look on her face after every box she opened(even though she asked for bratz dolls)and said" thats all I get? there should be more"me and my husband was like what?!now she does have a few things from other relatives coming later on but dam!all these presents was for u!no one else except ur sister got anything due to budget and loss of jobs ect. i was just like wow....just dont know what to say about that.....

what happened to waking up ripping though presents screaming when u found what u wanted, just being overjoyed at what u got....

maybe that time was lost when i was a child and for whatever reason xmas will now be know as a awkward moment in time...every year....

I know what you mean exactly, b/c  my sons bday is Dec.19th, and he was the biggest brat and Ingrate this year about every single thing I got or did for him,   it was horrible I was SO shocked I had  raised this boy.!  No matter what I did it wasnt good enuf, he EVEN said he got "CRUD"  Then he always follows every outrageious thing he says (always) by saying "Just kidding Mama"  Well this time my feelings are very hurt ,; I couldnt afford "BIG" stuff and that seems all the older ones want these days,--if it fricking doesnt cost about $100 or more, they arent interested!  I told him next year, how bout he gets NOTHING???!!

I have  a DD that spent Christmas eve with her father and was teased all night by him.  He hurt her feelings more than a dozen times. The a@@ didn't even try to make her feel better, told her to buck up he was teasing....... so guess it better than last Christmas when he gave her clothes that are made from animals and she is a vegetarian for animal right reasons and he knows that!! Guess he doesn't know my DD.

But I checked your page, your daughter is getting to that moddy age, where her body is changing and she is too smart for her own good!! LOL It when they stop have the dreams of childhood because they can see the world as it is, hang on momma cause this stage last for a while, untill they are teens then it a whole different battle.
