Hey Everyone,
I am interested in starting (in the future) a photography business, and I wanted to see what you all think of my photos. Would you pay for photos like these? Do you think they look professional? What would you want to be different about them if they were photos of your kids? Thanks for any input!!

I did professional photography for awhile about 15 years ago. So much has changed. I wouldn't be much help on equipment, lighting, etc., but I have lots of great ideas & stories. I was fresh out of training, refused to do things by the company polocies, and brought in the 2nd highest sales in my state. My studio brought in 4-6 thousand dollars a MONTH before I got there. The least amount my studio ever made after I arrived was my first week there & my work was mixed in with the previous photographers work. The studio made $5900.00 my first week there, after that it was always over 6 grand a week. I had a mom crying when she saw her sons senior photos because he hadn't smiled for a picture in over 10 years, and she ran in my studio while I was in the middle of another shoot crying and hugging me. Do you have your own business started yet? A studio? What do you want to shoot?
