They scare the living daylights out of Kalten. I took him into the Menards bathroom because I needed to go and he needed a diaper change. He thinks he needs to put a square of toilet paper in every time anyone uses the bathroom, so he was right there by the toilet after I stood up when it flushed automatically. The look on his face was priceless as he ran to the other side of the stall. Then it took all my muscle and coordination to get his hands in the sink to wash them because the water turned on automatically and that scared him. I didn't even try to make him use the automatic hand dryer. There were no paper towels, so he dripped dry. I swear, the only manual thing in that bathroom was the stall doors! Poor kid.

Dec. 26, 2008 at 9:43 PM My daughter hated the lights on the automatic toilets. That freaked her out. I had to put my hand over it for her to use the toilet.

My youngest daughter used to hate the automactic flushing toilets.  It had gotten so bad she would refuse to use any public toilets, even if they were manual flush.

Awww!!  Poor little guy!  I know how you feel though!  Just wait until potty training time and you are there and he has to go!  OMG!  I read somewhere that if you put like a post it note over the sensor it blocks it from flushing automaticly, I never have those in my purse so I use old gum wrappers!  lol
