Loss and Thankfulness!!!

This Christmas was a hard Christmas for me!!! You see, my grandfather had cancer and wasn't doing very well. We knew he wouldn't make long, but was hoping for more time. He passed away last Saturday before Christmas. We was a proud, respectable man who always loved to give you a hard time. He gave of himself and great at anything he put his hands into.
I will miss him dearly, but I know he is in a better place. He doesn't have cancer or pain anymore. He walking along side the One we celebrate this Holiday Season!!! I am thankful I had the privilege to be in my grandfathers life and honored that he wanted to be in mine.
Thank you Jesus for helping my family get through this Christmas. Thank you for being with us all the while.
