Planning trip in 2009?

I know money is tight for a lot of people. But just wondering what trips everyone might be planning or saving for in 2009? If you found a deal...please share! You have a great suggestion....please share!

We are planning on signing up for unassigned territory. Then we're going to plan a family trip. We were thinking about Yosemite or Grand Canyon or a cruise.  And we are going to plan a camping trip too.

We haven't had a vacation in a while. My husband is kind of cheap. But next year Universal Orlando is planning to add a Magical World of Harry Potter park. Supposedly, it will be open in late 2009 so we're planning the trip for next Christmas vacation.

We're sticking close to home this year(2009) , because next year we are going back to Ireland (2010).  We will be going to Wellsboro, PA-PA Grand Canyon area.  We never stay in hotels.  We always rent a home.  We have to cook our own meals and clean up after ourselves, but it saves us a ton of money, so we don't mind.  A few of the places we have found good deals on rental cottages are VRBO.com, Cyberrentals.com, vacationrentals411.com, and various other rental sites.  Also, sometimes just doing a search for vacation rentals in the area you are looking in brings surprising results.

 Hmmm Decisions, Decisions.. So I do want to go Camping for sure. I Really want to do Unassigned Territory but not sure if that will be possible. Got Invited to go to Cabo San Lucus and there's been some talk about San Francisco trip.. So we'll See...

We're going to Disneyworld for 12 whole days in February.  We've been planning this trip for five years and each time it's gotten delayed by a deployment.  This year we're going.  No matter what!  And then a cruise in October I think.
