Maybe I'm just corny..

But, my mom and I went Christmas shopping the Sunday before Christmas and as we were walking around the mall she asked me what I wanted for Christmas... My answer was quick and completely sincere when I said "nothing"...

As any mother, wife and human for that fact I have had more than my fair share of turmoil and worries, but, in that moment...and even now as I sit here at my keyboard I am completely content. Sure, my life is not perfect, I don't believe that exists, but I live in a house that I love, my husband and I are both happy to do what we do, my kids are happy and healthy, and my marriage is happy and solid. What else could a woman want?

I give thanks for what I have everyday because, if you look around you there are so many people who don't have what I have. I am genuinely grateful, totally at peace,content and feel completely blessed for what I have and who I have in my life.

I hope that any of you women that read my mushy post take a moment in this tough time of year and in this tough economy to take a look not at what you dont have (and believe me its easy to do!!) And, think about what you do have..Count your blessings even the small ones, and give thanks..I know I do..especially for the friendships that I have made on here....

I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and have a better New Year!  Thank you for humoring me in my time of spewing sappiness and optimism...please don't leave me too much hate mail! LOL...
