there seems to be a common fundamentality that has been forgotten as of late. I know the holidays are over and the "good will and cheer" are starting to fade already. well. I just wanted to remind us that the man on the corner begging for change (even though they get a check every week from welfare, SS, and disability totaling more than you make a week), that person whom stole your purse, and even the heroin addict shooting up their umpteenth needle are in fact still fellow human beings.
despite what is happening in the now, they do still have the potential for good in their future. if we start forgeting that then they no longer will have that potential for good because no one will try to help them find it.

I think people would rather see the 'undesireables' at face value and nothing more. It's easier to do that than see them as human.
