What's up, and Chicken butts..

Remember when you were super smart, and all grown up at the age of eight? The time when you could be the coolest kid on the playground by responding to the question of "Whats up?" , with "Chicken Butt!!!" and "Why" with "cuz cows dont fly!" Remember that? Now when you think about it.. chickens dont fly either... did any of us think about that?!

Anyone ever want to say that again.. ?! Could you imagine? Standing in line at the store... with a crying baby.... behind ten other families with even louder crying babies? Ever want to stare someone down to the point they open their mouth.... and say that magic word....."WHAT?!"  And then you could stand there all cool..... nod your head a bit..... respond... " Chicken Butt".  And then just keep staring at them.... THAT WOULD BE COOL! I bet they would let you go infront of them... cant hurt to try!

LOL, my kids say "Chicken Butt", but when asked "Why?"  They shout, "Chicken Thigh!"  They've actually tried a variety of responses, which include, 'turkey', 'baby' and 'cat'...

 And yep, I play along, because sometimes it really does feel good to shout that again... :)

Apr. 17, 2007 at 6:25 PM I pull that out when my little guy is getting grumpy. He will be acting up and I will just look at him and say "Guess what?" He almost always laughs because he knows what's coming next! Great post!
