After going around and around about why my daughter has sores and blisters on her hands, now we know why! It's not Hand Foot Mouth disease. It's not another form of eczema. It's a form of a herpes virus called Herpetic Whitlow. Really, what else can she get from daycare???? I'm paying for a full week of daycare for her to go maybe 3 days a week and then also paying for all these Doctor visits! I hope she'll get healthy soon!

Jack had Hands Foot and Mouth Disease and I didn't know what he had until he was over it. It's highly contageous. When he was 8 months old he had blisters all over his hands and it WASN'T HFM disease, we found out that he had staff infections on his hands from my husband working at the hospital. YUCK

Wow!!!! That scares me. I guess it must not be as bad as it sounds. That does stink. I hope that after this she doesn't get sick anymore.
