New year's eve. What we are doing! about My father in law also!

We love to hang out in the livingroom, watching TV. and eating finger foods! ALL OF US! This year we have a "new" addition to our househould, he is a great man! He's my father in law, he just turned 80yrs old Dec. 16, 08, and we moved him in with us Last Tue. He was unable to live by himself any longer, and he was finially ready to leave his life as he knew it in NJ. We are so happy to have him here! This is much better for him. To be around family everyday! He was in the hospital as he was forgetting to eat, but when we'd call him and ask him things he'd tell us he ate his meals, and he would even say he went out to eat at friendly's sometimes!! He has Alzheimers, so we'd been trying to get him to move here for a couple of years now! We just didn't want to see him living in a home! My brother in law travels all the time for work, and is moving to MD from NJ soon...He will be living only about 45mins or so from us when they make the move. (he's moving due to his job moving him) He works for the government which is why he travles all the time!
So, right now we have two TV tray's full of finger foods (except what we have eatten already lol) and we are all hanging out in the livingroom waiting to ring in the new year all together. My 2 additional kids are here too! (my step kids) Only we are missing one of our kids right now as he's at work! BOOOOOOO!! lol it is 10:20pm, he should be home soon tough, he washes dishes in a nice resturant. He didn't have to go to work until 7pm tonight. Football is on the TV, we are all talking and carring on, My 9yr old daughter is playing her nintendo Ds, my 17yr old step daughter is playing games on her lap top, and my 14yr old son is sitting in a chair talking to my 14yr old step son. We were listening to music and dancing around a little while ago!
We will also ring in the new year with sparkling red grape juice (NO ALCOHOL as we are not drinkers)
Tomorrow we will all get up and have a big breakfast french toast, pancakes, sausage, hashbrowns, and then have pork and sour krout for dinner along with red skinned potatoes! We will hang out again as we typically do New Year's Day!
