The rantings of a grandma

 This year that has just past was one full of pitfalls, challenges and victories. I have heard times like that spoken of as opportunities.I know sometimes I would like a few less opportunities, but by God's grace we always make it through to the other side and learn something in the process.

I have a  wonderful family, both immediate and extended.With 6 grandchildren and 1 son-in-law comes a mirid of times to learn. Everyone of my  grand kids is different. I have to be sure to keep my response to them fit their specific needs.Everyone of them grows and comes to me with different needs and requests. Sometimes those are spoken some times they are not. The one thing I do know and can count on, is as long as I meet them with honesty and sincere love in my own way I am adding to their lives and they are enriching mine.
