Did you know that January is Cervical Health Awareness Month?

If you haven't scheduled your yearly pap -
make sure you add that to your "To Do" list for 2009.
And if you ever had an abnormal pap smear - it's more important than anything else to keep up with your doctor appointments.

Thanks for posting this, I've had a few abnormals which always scare me. The follow up's end up A-okay, but thinking I could have cancer always freaks me out.

Ladies it's important to get checked yearly and don't forget your boobie check up too !

I just had my annual pap smear and my very first mammogram!  OUCH!  It feels good to know I am taking care of my body!  Thanks for the reminder!

I have had a history of abnormal pap smears, and this past January I was diagnosed with an early stage cervical cancer.  There is such good treatment available to me; I look forward to being healthy again.
