We just bought a Frigidare, about a month ago, I don't know the model, only that is was about $230...nothing fancy.  I works great, but is a little on the small side, 36" I think...it has pots and pans, normal, and rinse...I usually do 1 load a day...it's quieter than most dishwashers...and it sprays from the bottom, AND for the bottom of the top rack...it came from Lowes, so I'm sure if you looked for that brand, and the price, you could find the one I'm talking about...I just wish it was a little bigger, for the pots and pans...I do love that I can move the silverware container around the side or front, which ever works best...

I have the 2 hands that I got nearly 35 years ago!  I missed our dishwasher for a long time, but I have adjusted!  Hope you find one that is good for you.  We had a really old one at the old house that was awesome.  Things just aren't made like the old days!

we have an amana sofsound.... i don't have problems with it and we use it at least once a day... i'd say, whatever you get is fine, but i'd go for one with a warranty.  This one is good at melting plastic spoons. LOL.

We bought a Maytag Queit Series 300, it's 5 years old now.  I use it at least once a day in the summer, a little less in winter, like to warm my hands and hand wash.  I love this one, it's quiet and the dishes come clean.  It is quiet too, you hardly hear it when it's running.

My in-laws have a BOSH and they love it they had it for awhile.  It makes me so jealous because her dishes come out so clean.  I have a maytag and it does the same thing has what yours is doing.  The handle broke and everything else is starting to break.  The next one we get will be a bosh.  The got theirs at lowes.
