Wow 2009 already!

I can not believe how fast this year has gone by! The kids are so big now. I feel like I missed most of the year somehow. We currently reside in Sarasota, Florida and my hubby just told me we may be moving to HUntsville, Alabama soon. We visited there a few years ago and were going to move then, but my hubby being the Florida native froze his butt off and said nope too cold for me. That was the case until he recieved a job offfer making twice what he is making down here. Which  would be a really good thing right now. This town is just tooo expensive. The cost of living here is 20% higher than in HUntsville. And Huntsville is one of the greenest citites in the U.S. Thats awesome. Compared to here it just seems like a much nicer place to raise three kids. I will miss everyone dearly though. I have tried to move away from here twice before and I always came back. My mother and I have become great friends since I started having children. We talk everyday religiously. So it will be a hard transition.  We have no family up there just one old friend. Everyone in our families are down here. Well it will make visiting everyone easier wont be as expensive just one town to visit.

If anyone reads this and is from Huntsvill, AL, i would sure like to talk to you. I would like comments on good schools, good neighborhoods, places that might be for rent. It is hard to find the lisitngs for rentals, we usually find them by driving around. We will be going up there for about a week to look around and such before the move. So excited. But man thats a lot of stuff to pack. Not looking forward to that part. Or traveling so far with a 7, 4, and 1 yr old. Maybe we should get a dvd player for the van before we go anywhere.

Hi! I commented on your post in the HSV moms group as well. There is also a member of that group that is a realtor and I am sure she would be glad to help you. I will send you her name (I cannot think of the correct screen name right now)

Like I said in the post, county schools are great......everywhere is growing sooo much! If you ever need anything, please feel free to PM me. I know of a couple of homes near me, close to town and great schools, but they are for sale, not rent, but if you want, I could get the MLS numbers for you to see them :)
