Wonderful Family NOT!!!!!!

Ok this is the only place I can do this because I do not want to get into it with my family but have to let it out. My big sister who is always saying family is everything and blah blah blah said to one of my friends who lives with us that she could not believe that we have my father working around our house like a handy man. We hired my father and brother to rehab our new house last year and when he needed money we hired him to do a lot of other things around the house. She feels that our parents should be set for life because my husband and I have some money. We gave my parents a lump of money last year, paid for oil for them, plus my father worked for us on the new and old house which gave him months of work with bonus for all the workers. We have help my parents out along with my brother but my two other sisters don't see it that way. I would love for my parents to be set but they put themselves in that hole over and over again with credit cards. Well to top it off she told my friend that she could not believe we did not offer her money for Christmas so she could have a good one with her family because her husband was laid off. Please you know he gets laid off every year around this time and it is always that way. I just do not know what to do about it. She thinks that we should just hand out money? We did that when my husband and I were 16 years old and both had two jobs with going to school. We always gave to them and never got anything back. I just do not understand people. Sorry I just had to vent because I am so upset.

That really does stink.  Just because you are the only one who is responsible does not mean you have to take care of everyone else.  Good Luck!!
