Why there is so much child homicide/abuse/etc.

People seem to have become desperate nowadays.  Things really are not what they seem to be.  What we see if not the entire truth now, is it?  Lies are boundless and endless and money seems to be in short supply.  No one wants to pay for anything anymore with all of these fees and extra payments for frivolous things that we really do not want anymore or need.

Our children need us during these tough times.  During the early years of the 1900's, especially during the Depression, parents were forced to give up their children or abandon them because they had no money, food, or shelter for these small beings anymore.  We still do and there are willing participants who wish to help out.  Those who still have money and have big hearts can and will do so.

What about those who won't help out or even help themselves for whatever reason they come up with.  They have to make their own choices in life.  We cannot judge them because they wish to drop off their child or children to make their lives much more easier.  I do believe that we will see much more of these atrocities occurring because humans come to the end of their ropes and don't know what else to do.
