I had my 32 week appointment this morning and things went great! My blood sugar is down, which is a blessing since I am borderline Gestational Diabetes. It was difficult to watch my eating over the holidays because people actually got mad at me if I didn't "just try one bite" of whatever dessert they made. The concept of diabetes didn't matter with them since "one bite won't hurt anything". UGH. Because I have eliminated most sugars and salt from my diet, I lost 3 pounds.
School started back today also. After this class I only have one more to go! I am both excited and scared. I don't know if I am ready to go back to work! I have to go back, but I just don't want to. My problem is really that I hate job hunting. Hate it with a passion. Thank God, He is in control and I just have to follow His lead.

What wonderful news! I'm so glad your blood sugar is down, and that you're so close to being done - both with the pregnancy and with school. As for the people complaining about you needing "just one bite," they'll never remember their thoughts when there's a beautiful new baby around!!! I remember my SIL was really offended that I didn't touch a single cupcake she made when she came for Easter when I was pregnant with Ben, but I was on insulin, testing my blood sugar 6 times a day, and on a rigorous diet that didn't allow room for any sugar like that! Of course, now she doesn't remember a thing of it. You're doing the best thing you can for you baby, and don't forget it!!!
