cant get my daughter away from the computer

I cant seem to get my daughter interested in anything but the computer.i might get her off for a few mins but thats it.when i try getting her off she has total meltdowns.I dont know if its the pdd meltdown or a tantrum of sorts.any ideas on what i can do?

Turn it off. Decide on what you think is an appropriate amount of time for her to spend there. When that time is up, turn it off for the day. Unplug it or do whatever is necessary. This is your home, and you are the woman in charge. I spank for tantrums and defiance of my rules. You will have to decide what your plan is and diligently stick to it. It may take a while for her to realize that you mean to be in charge, but she will eventually get the idea. Once you establish your authority, you will find your life much more peaceful.
