Just found out where we are going in May/June!

Okay... so I haven't been on here in a while.  Nothing new has been going on besides us anxiously awaiting news of what our new unit will be for our next rotation date (we thought we would know in November).  For those who may not know, my husband, Jason, is in the Coast Guard and has been going to school at SIU in Carbondale, IL.  He will be graduating in May.  Back in November we learned that Jason will be making E-7, Chief, and filled out our "dream sheet" for this upcoming rotation for that rank.  We had had exotic sounding places like Guam all the way to places that would have me seeing more snow that I would particularly care to see, such as Alaska.  Overall I liked every place that was on our list.  They all interesting in one way or another.  But I guess the detailer who has our fate in his hands did not see it in our best interest to go to ANY of the places on the list.  Whatever........So....drum roll, please......

We are going to Cleveland, OH.  I am not too thrilled with this choice.  In fact, I had a good little cry after hearing this.   I have been away from the ocean for too long now. After another winter in the mid-west, I was longing for someplace warm.  Since my little crying jag, Jason and I have been googling everything we can about Cleveland.   It doesn't actually sound that bad.  I guess that I am just a bit disappointed.  As much as I like moving...I kind of always see them as a new adventure...it is hard on me.  It's easier if it is someplace that I want to move to.  Hopefully, it will grow on me by May.
