I guess the biggest and hardest resolution I have made for my self is to be healthier. Not go all crazy and eat nothing but bread and butter once a day to lose weight but seriously healthier. Drink water instead of a soda, quit smoking (and not cold turkey, that has NEVER worked for me, but gradually stepping down), eating more healthy snacks like apples verses that Swiss Cake Roll that has been calling me all day.
My next resolution is for my kids. I do plenty with them already but I want to do more. More play time, more learning time. I also want to work on my temper especially with them. I have a terrible temper and can fly off the handle like a drop of a hat.
Finally I just want to do more than make due. I want to work out a budget that helps us not live paycheck to paycheck. I want something in our savings account and I want out of debt. We luckily don't have a lot and I think we can be half out by the middle of the year (at least or credit card, not the car)
But here they are all spelled out. No way I can go back now and say, "I didn't make that resolution". So with help and support from friends and family I hope to complete these goals for 2009. Wish me luck!
