Christmas Vacation

Christmas vacation went pretty well this year. We did not travel to Tennessee this year. We stayed home the entire vacation. The boys said they enjoyed staying home too and playing with their friends. They had friends over and they stayed the night with friends. They said they missed going to Tennessee too though... I know Robert missed seeing his family. Seeing how this is usually the only time we get to spend with them... Christmas was small but the boys didn't complain. They got 75.00 gift cards from Robert. He used his hotel points to get the boys and I gift cards. Then he also got giftcards for AppleBees and we had lunch there the day we went shopping. My Mom and Aunt Dorothy came on Christmas morning and left after lunch to head to Mississippi to get my Mom's stuff. We had a simple lunch nothing too extravagant.  We hung most of the time as family.. The boys were totally into their Dad playing video games with them. They each bought a game with their gift cards. I got to hang out with my friend Missi a few days. THat was totally awesome! I am sooo happy I have a friend that I can hang out and do things with now. Plus she has introduced me to her circle of friends and they seem to be just as cool as she is.  So all in all we had a great vacation!        Robert and James rearranged my bedroom for me ... they said it was their Christmas gift to me! I loved it.. Gifts don't always have to be tangible... I got a wireless mouse for my laptop with my gift cards.. I also bought the pedipaws for the kitties... and not sure we will be able to use i t as much as we thought we would be able too.
