Robyn's Journal

My job is done if you go eww, OMG or LOL

so far so good though. I have done just about everything I have set out to do and somethings I didn't realise I wanted to do. new years resolution fueled or not.

I do however want to get back on track with my other dreams. the first step I've already taken by sending away to get my transcripts sent to Tri-C so I can apply for financial aid and go back to college and get trained in a different field since the ones I am currently trained for is going down hill fast (manufacturing/automobiles/machine repairing). I've really never been a "career woman", since I still have yet to find a job that sparks passion and determination. but I've found that having colleges on my resume opens doors for me to have interesting adventures.

I was hanging out with a good friend Lisa of whom is not from Cleveland either (which is perfect because we enjoy getting lost in the city together and making fun of the natives with our similar sense of humor). some times we talk about the "heavy" stuff too. like the fact she wants to own a house some day, have enough money for retirement and a few other things. then we started talking about what I wanted out of life.. and boy my list is long.

I also realized while we were hanging out that I want to spend more time with Lisa.

I'm going to get a tent and we are all going camping this summer. end of story!

OK, I stopped writing for a little bit to put away clothes. I used that time to think about my relationship with Kris and how lately it seems to have derailed a bit and what hand I had to play in it (takes two to tango). this year I am going to work on letting go of the past two years. we have had a rocky start, but that is expect-able when two people start a "new" relationship and then suddenly a kid gets thrown into it. so I'm going to work on not continuing to lording over him, the past times he has let me down. whether he realizes it or not, he has changed some for the good since this all began. but as with any one, there is always room for improvement, hence new year resolutions.
