Has anyone heard of postpartum tubal ligation syndrome?This is something that I never heard of intel I started looking in to in. My dr. never said anything about side affects.I started having strange symptoms a few months after my baby was born (getting my tubes tied was something i really did not want done my dr. said i shouldn't have a fourth c section). Everyone I talk to says iam crazy that these thing are all in  my head because i dont want my tubes tied and i want another child.but iam wondering if there are anymore of you out there going threw this to. Iv done some research and a lot of the sites say that its not real that it is all in your head. What do you think is it real or is it something women just make up because the urge to have children is so strong? please let me know. I really think this is a real thing and dr should talk to us more about it. I should have asked questions about it but iv put all my trust in to my dr. i guess i thought if it was a problem he would tell me .

Hi, I got my tubes tied after my daughter was born she's now 9.  I didn't want anymore kids so there shouldn't have been an issue later right???  WRONG!  I have since then regreted having my tubes tied! I never heard of it before reading your post, but it wouldn't surprise me from what I went through after having it done!  I don't know what kinds of symptoms there are, but I feel as though it brought on a lot of depression in my life afterwords...I don't feel as though it was in my head because I wanted my tubes tied and didn't want anymore kids...Not that more would have been bad, I just didn't want to and figured I'd feel that way forever since I was blessed with 3 healthy kids already!

I feel strongly that tubal's can give some psychological issues with women afterwords!!  Is this facts? No, cuz I never knew any facts, I just know what I went through after along with someone that I know...started having a lot of psycological issues afterwords as well...I didn't know her b4 I had mine done.  None of my friends had theirs tied either at that time!  I do have mental health issues, and can honestly say maybe they were alway's there and just went un diagnosed all my life, but wasn't until after my daughter was 4, that I finially went and talked to a DR about my depression and so forth and had been struggling with it since after her birth that I know of - and after the tubal.
