Ok I have read about the new law hence that is suppose to be passed one Feb-10 concerning the reselling of childrens used clothing, toys, school supplies, etc. and that thrift stores and such has to prove that they re in compliance with this before they can resell any childrens things.we even cannot have yard sales or go to them without the worry of compliance of this?I understand the concept of lead in toys and the dangers of it to kids and agree with that.but like alot of mothers out there I have 3 kids and have limited income, therefore thrift stores and yard sales are MY walmart. mykids outgrow clothing very fast and I like to pass their clothing onto places like the Goodwill who would put them to good use but now Im finding out I cant? This whole thing has my feathers totally ruffled and not really understanding what in Gods name has lead got to do with clothing anyway? any answers to this? thanks for letting me vent.
