Yeah, so it had been almost 5 years since I did anything with an infant (of my own, since my SIL didn't really socialize with our side of the family when my nephew was born!).  Took me only a second or two to catch back up on the basics.

But how I managed to totally space on when those teeth start coming, they just EXPLODE onto the scene is beyond me!  Gabe started off with two, then four and now his molars are just racing each other to erupt first!  Bottom right came in, and i detected the bump of the bottom left, and last night hubby (Jeff) came down from brushing Gabe's teeth and putting him to bed to announce that, *fingers crossed* it looked like we had the top two coming in!! Damn, this kid just doesn't do ANYTHING slowly!

Whew!  There are so many ups and downs to having kids this spaced apart; i can't even imagine what it is like for kids spaced farther!  Or more accurately, for their parents.  I never really thought I would have this big of a gap, but my life got so mixed up and my choices kept going from bad to worse, lol, and I swore that I wouldn't have a #2 until I was married (oops!)  And then I didn't think I'd have a 3rd at all.  God had a bigger plan, though.  I just hope to heck He knows what He's doing lol!
