Tonight my 10 year old daughter was messing around in her room and they have bunkbeds. She was playing around and the next thing i heard were cries from her so i go into check on her and her upper lip was cut and she had some scrapes by her nose and her lip was swallen. I asked what ahppened and she said she went to get off the bottom bunk and she hit her head/face on the bedrail..Wow what a mess its still a little swollen. does anyone know how long it should be swollen for???

ouch! not sure how long it will be swollen for but i would ice it to stop it from swelling more
