I'd say I'm on my way to developing a habit, which is exactly what I was hoping for.  If I can be consistent for 30 days, it will feel strange *not* to exercise, or to eat too much.

The Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred dvd is fantastic!  Wow, what a butt-kicker in only 20 minutes!  I'm proud to say I completed the Level 2 workout this morning.  Not that Level 1 isn't tough, but I thought I'd push myself a bit today.  Tomorrow I will probably do Level 1 again.  It's fun to be able to mix up the workouts, but still get a high level of intensity and challenge.  I haven't even watched Level 3 yet, I don't want to get scared, lol.  Ryan has been doing the workouts with me.  He likes the cardio and the lower body work.  It's kind of fun to push through it together.

Next week will be a bit of a challenge.  I'm starting classes again AND have to cover for the full-time teller at work while she goes to a training program.  Four days next week and 3 days the following week I will be working full-time, attending classes, AND getting up at 6 to work out with Jillian before work.  I hope I can keep it up!

In order to prepare for such a challenge, I'm going to make sure there's plenty of quick meals for me to eat on-the-go.  I'll need to pack both lunch and dinner on the days that I have school after work.  I'm keeping up with getting high levels of protein, lots of veggies, fruit, and healthy carbs.  So my shopping list will include whole wheat bread, portable fruits like apples, snack veggies like celery and sweet peppers, Luna Bars, peanut butter, and soymeats.  I'm keeping almonds in my snack drawer at work, and have been setting out all of our leftover candies for the customers to take :-)  Even with the good nutrition, I know I'll need a couple of coffee fixes in there too.  I found that a cup before an evening class will keep me alert the whole time.  Thank goodness this is my last semester on-campus!  After this, it's all on-line, woohoo!

I hope your New Year's Resolutions are going well!

Congrats on all your successes!  Sounds like life is VERY busy for you =)

I'm working out daily now, too, and have given up soda and coffee.  I read that an apple packs more of an energetic punch than 8 oz of coffee and I've found it to be true ... BUT I like drinking a hot beverage so I've switched to Mixed Berry Green Tea (by Lipton) and Yogi's Slim Style Green Tea.  Coffee and I were too close for healthy weight loss, so I had to say "bye."

Anyhow, best wishes as you continue your journey!!!
