Nystagmus?

My nephew was just diagnosed with nystagmus, an eye condition.  Does anyone know where I can find some info on it.  I been trying to look it up but everything is kind of vague.  the doctors were also pretty vague with my brother in law.  Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated.
