We put ours up Thanksgiving weekend and take it down the weekend after New Year's.  Always.  So ours is down, which makes me both happy that it's all over but sad because the lightness that the tree brought to the room is now gone.

No, I have not taken down my Christmas tree yet.  My daughter and granddaugter tried to come home for Christmas and the weather prevented them from doing so.  We had bad snow and ice storms happening here. 

Their gifts are still wrapped and under the tree.  My Christmas tree will stay up until Christina and Layla Monroe come home.

We put ours up the day after Thanksgiving and took it down a day or two before new years.

From a religious stand point we never take it down until after the Christmas season actually ends which is not the day after Christmas like some people think and it isn't on New Years day either. I know some people go by the calander but the true Christmas season ends much later than one thinks.

mine is still up, though I could snap it in half it's so dry------no were not turning on the lights anymore>afraid it will combust-lol.  It's coming down tomorrow>>missed pickup last monday, so gonna let it hangout curbside till this monday
