It is not my job to tell you that what you are doing is wrong. Even if I disagree with what you are doing.
It is not my job to beat it into your head that God says such and such about any situation. I am sure you have heard that enough.
It is not my job to be your conscience for you.
It is not my job to turn my back on you because I don't agree with your choices.
It is not my job to wag my finger in your face and shout "shame on you" for the world to hear.
It is not my job to suck my teeth in utter disgust over what you do in your private life.
It IS my job to love you.
It IS my job to pray for you....and not in that condescending way that some people think.
It IS my job to let you know that I am not any better than you, and that you can count on me to be caring towards you.
It IS my job to show the love of Christ to all. ALL.
I have not been called to condemn another to hell.
I have not been called to point out anothers sins, because I have my own to attend to and according to my Father no sin is greater than another....so who am I to sit there and say "ooooooo, you did a baaaaad thing!" ?
I have not been called to judge...that is my Father's job.
If I disagree with something, I will either try to kindly say so or just not say anything at all.
Anyway...that is what MY job is...or isn't.
Comments:
That is EXACTLY HOW I SEE IT!!!!!!!!!!!
It is ONLY FOR GOD!!!!!!!!!!
Not my business.
I could share my opinion if asked.
But sharing my opinion should NOT be confused for JUDGING! At least from me, it is nothing more than my thoughts. Each individual will do with it what they will.
Thank you for your thoughts dear!
I am glad not to be GOD, nor do I want to play GOD judging each for their actions, includeing my self!
I agree!!!! I am no better than anyone else, I am only who I am and where I am by the grace of God!
But sometimes Christians are way too tolerant of other "lifestyles" that are blatantly sinful. I won't sit by and let people I care about sin ignorantly and pave their own road to eternity apart from God. I tell them the truth, and I pray for them. AND I LOVE THEM!
I speak the Truth in love. People know where I stand on things.....but I won't sit there and continue to argue and fuss...it only drives them in the opposite direction. I choose to let God do the convicting when He sees fit. Not my job to be Holy Ghost Jr. LOL
Could you continue putting it any more clearly!?!?! OMGosh I LOVE you for how you word it so perfecly! :O) The whole... say it only once if asked and then drop it, is how I feel about it. The part you said "I'm not the Holy Ghost Jr!" LOL TRUE! I always called it "Playing GOD" But I ment the same thing. :O) Very funny!
LOL, Elle!! I have too much to do with all my kids and trying to keep myself out of trouble to have the job of keeping tallies on other people's choices...man, you think I am tired now! Could you imagine how pooped you'd be after all of that? LOL

I agree with the op and I agree with Teresa. I do give my testimonies as well in my journals and when people ask me questions about God. I do not want to seem like I am saying that I am better than anyone, some people do take offense when they have feelings of disapointment in themselves, and say things about me being a goody goody etc, that is so not the intent. I tell them where I came from so in no way should they think that I am a goody goody.
I do not want to talk to anyone with out the Holy Ghost's guidance. I wittnessed a Holy Ghost movement through our church prayer and fast group when we all choose to yield to the Holy Ghost. I am still sinful even though I try not to be and at times my flesh talks when I do not wait on the Lord, but the glory of that is that Jesus died for my sins so that I can be forgiven.
Praise the Lord I am not perfect!
God bless,
Sheri
