First off thank you Cafemom for letting me partake in the Cafemom Influencer program.

I was one of the procrastinators who waited the last minute to do an album.....lol.
So on Thursday night through Friday morning, I made my album, but to find out that I also used the wrong album like one mama did over here...baby's first year instead of general...oops! I saw her post that Friday morning so instead of contacting Cafemom or Shutterfly, I decided to remake a portion of the album w/ the Cafemom offer...not as pretty as baby's first year but it was pretty descent.
After
spending an all nighter making the 1st year album, I thought I might as
well get it. I look for special offers...and saw that if you order an
additional book, you would only pay $26.24 + $0.75 per additional page.
So I thought awesome I would get that. However it didn't happen that
way. Without the coupon it was charging me $26.24+$1.00 per page.
Ok...then I applied the Cafemom coupon, and it charged me the full
price of $34.99+$1.00 per page. I didn't see buy one at a regular price
and you get the 2nd book at this discount. I guess it was a no
brainer... that I didn't get at that time since I was tired. So I end
up writing Shutterfly customer service about it, but instead of telling
them I made a boo boo of making my Cafemom book, I just told them how
impressed I was w/ the book and made another one but it was charging me
full price, and if there was someway I can get the special offer with
the 2nd book. I end up ordering the CM offer last night before it
expired today.
I
got the reply this morning telling me that the offer is only good if I
buy the first book regular price so I was a bit disappointed.
But also they then told me "We request you to refer the details of the offer, before ordering." Is it me or did I found that part of customer service reply a little brash...that it can be left unsaid? I felt like that person said next time look at the details before asking...which I did.LOL maybe I'm just being overly sensitive and overthinking it due to my disappointment and time I spent on the first album and the cost was way too much ($70) for the album. Oh well...

All in all, here's what I think of shutterfly from awesome to poor:
Ease of use: easy/awesome
Design: pretty/awesome
Customer Service: good/okay with timeframe of reply
Price: good/descent if you stick to 20 pages but ripoff for each additional page...if you can afford it, it's a pretty good site to make an album
Recommend to a friend/family: yes...website is http://www.shutterfly.com/
Will I use again: Maybe..need to see the book of how it turned out and if budget is not tight
I will let you all know when I get my book of what I think of it.
