my new years resolution

i am hoping to strengthen my ties with my 2 sisters this year. i plan on doing little things for them, like mailing them handwritten notes and letters and cards every month. we text and email but it is not as personal. since we all 3 live hundreds of miles apart i am hoping to just make them feel special to me and i hope they get the message.

What a beautiful resolution, honey! 

You know, handwritten letters are an elegant, but dying, art.  I am so pleased that you are doing your bit to revive this delicious little bit of gentility...especially with your sisters.

Whenever I send a handwritten letter, I like to tuck in a little Twinings pre-wrapped tea bag, so that my friends can brew a fragrant cup of "swamp water" to sip as they savour the note enclosed.  For my non-tea-drinking friends, I tuck in a packet of instant gourmet cocoa.  *wink* 

A handwritten letter is an occasion to be savoured & celebrated...so glad you're giving this gift this year.
