Poem of Life

Life is but a stopping place,
A pause in what's to be.
A resting place along the road,
to sweet eternity.
We all have different journeys,
Different paths along the way
We all were meant to learn some things,
but never meant to stay...
Our destination is a place,
Far greater that we know.
For some the hourney's quicker,
For some the journey's slow.
And whent he journey finally ends,
We'll claimn a great reward,
And find everlasting peace,
Together with the lord.

Love Uncle James and Aunt Jess

How do yo measure a person's life? By the things they have ? By the awards they have? By their age ? Or should it be by the people that they have touched as a daughter, sister, grand daughter, niece, friend, student and coworker? It has become clear to me that in the twenty years since I first saw Amanda, as a baby in the hospital, that she has touched many people's lives. It's now up to us to make sure that she lives on in all of our memories. She will be missed, but never fogotten!

Love Uncle James
