In search of Local Bands and/or musicians (Livonia, MI)

I am organizing the Annual Dinner Auction at my (two) daughters preschool and we are in need of live entertainment. I am looking for any local bands or musicians to play a small session the night of the event? Anyone know of anyone that would be willing to donate their time or give us a cheap price? The event will take place in Livonia, so anyone who is in the Metro Detroit Area would work out great!!
